Cape Town International Animation Festival

The French Institute of South Africa will partner once again with the Cape Town International Animation Festival (CTIAF) from 18 to 21 February 2016.

Curated by Animation SA, the fifth edition of the festival (previously called Kunjanimation) provides South Africans the chance to catch some of the world’s top animated feature films including the best of French animation.

Adama, the first animation feature film entirely designed and produced in Reunion Island, and Phamtom Boy are part of this French selection and will be screened at the Labia Theatre.

In addition, the CTIAF will host an exciting range of workshops with global industry leaders including French Animation delegates, providing a rare opportunity to engage with them and learn from their insights.

The French delegation includes Nedy Acet, 3D Animator at Dreamworks, French producers Christine Ponzevera, Arnauld Boulard and Sebastien Onomo as well as producers from Reunion Island and Edy Payet, managing director of Agence Film Réunion.
