Foreign Minister to visit India, South Africa and Brazil [fr]
French Minister of Foreign Affairs and Development, HE Mr Laurent Fabius is going successively to India, South Africa and Brazil where he will meet the leaders to prepare COP21.
“These visits in three emerging countries - key players in the negotiation - aim at progressing towards necessary consensus”.
After the recent organization of pre-COP, during which 60 Ministers from more than 70 countries from all the continents were welcomed in Paris, these visits express the determination of the French Presidency to listen to all the parties in order to succeed together towards a universal, ambitious and sustainable agreement about global warming.
As the French Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Development, HE Mr Laurent Fabius reminded this morning, “we are totally mobilized to achieve our goal”.
