Conference on Climate Change in Africa [fr]


The French Embassy in Pretoria and the South African Institute of International Affairs (SAIIA) will organize jointly a one and a half day conference on climate change in Africa, on 3-4, November 2014.

It will be held at the Jan Smuts House Building, University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg.
This conference will bring together stakeholders from research, public administration, international organizations, donors and civil society actors, from South Africa and other regions of the African continent.
Ahead of the CoP20 (2014, Lima) and of the CoP21 (2015, Paris), this conference will propose to foster synergies between research, policy and positives initiatives on Climate Change, in four key areas:
Green economy, Energy, Sustainable cities and Marine Resources and Coastal Ecosystems.
