« French Day » at TUT [fr]

The first French Day at the Tshwane University of Technology took place on 8 October 2013.

The “French Days” are an initiative of the Embassy of France in South Africa launched during the French Season in South Africa, with the objective of highlighting Franco-South African scientific cooperation to academics and students.

The theme for this day was research on Water, a domain of common interest to the participants of the day: The Franco-South African Institute of Technology (F’SATI), who is exploring this area as a possible new research focus, the Tshwane University of Technology and its specialized research chairs, public-sector actors such as Rand Water and the City of Tshwane, and leading French companies Saint-Gobain and Veolia Environment.

The day also included a presentation of study opportunities in France, through the participation of Campus France.
