French South African Chamber of Commerce and Industry [fr]

The FSACCI (French South African Chamber of Commerce and Industry) created in 1979, constitutes, through its panel of services, activities and its network of members, an efficient business support mechanism for French companies in South Africa and for South African companies wishing to set up business links with France.

The FSACCI is a private, non profit organization, with our head office based in Johannesburg, a regional office in Cape Town and, as of June 2013, a regional office in Durban. The FSACCI is a member of the UCCIFE, (network of 112 French Chambers in 75 countries). We work closely with other Chambers of Commerce and Industry, in France and in South Africa, as well as all major French institutions.

The FSACCI organizes numerous events throughout the year, some of which have become trademarks!

- Monthly breakfast meetings over topic of relevance
- Monthly French Energy Forum breakfasts
- Africa Committee breakfasts
- Meet & Greet lunches, which provide members and non members alike with a good opportunity to network in an informal atmosphere
- Sites visits

Some of the FSACCI’s annual trademark events:
- Beaujolais Nouveau Wine Festival - Third Thursday of November.
- French Gala Dinner
- Golf days during Spring and Summer

The FSACCI also offers a recruitment service: all companies looking for French speakers are welcome to inform us of any vacant position, and all French speaking job seekers are welcome to forward us their CVs.

In 2013, the FSACCI has launched « Synergy Groups », aimed to increade contacts between companies members, as well as a « Human Resources » comity.
