French Tech Ticket Season 2: deadline extended [fr]
The French Tech Ticket is a global competition designed for entrepreneurs from all over the world who want to grow or create their startup company in France.
- France is number one globally in EMEA for its number of high-growth companies for the 5th year in a row (Deloitte Technology Fast 500 EMEA)
- France is the Europe’s second most active venture market (Venture Source Clipperton)
- 25% of all startups exhibiting at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas in 2015 and 45 out of the 165 awarded most innovative companies were French.
Following the success of its first pilot programme in 2015 to attract foreign entrepreneurs interested in creating or expanding their start-up businesses in Paris in 2016, the French Tech Ticket programme is now open for applications for 2017.
Applications for this international start-up competition close on 23 September 2016 and the winners will be announced in December this year. From the applications, 70 start-up businesses will be selected to join one of the 41 top business incubators in France on 1 January 2017.

In order for your application to be taken into account, your start-up must be in the creation or growth phase. In addition, applicants should be willing to live in France full-time for the period of one year. Founding teams can consist of two or three people, with maximum one French citizen.
