Invest in France seminar Cape Town

On Wednesday 19 October 2016, the Embassy of France in South Africa, Business France, the French South African Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FSACCI) and the Cape Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted its first breakfast presentation on the advantages of investing in France.

The Expand your business in Europe: Invest in France seminar took place at ENS Africa in Cape Town and brought together prominent South African and French businesspeople.

Ambassador of France to South Africa HE Elisabeth Barbier, Consul of France in Cape Town Xavier D’Argoeuves and Chairman of FSACCI, Philip Geromont, hosted guests along with William Roos, Head of the regional economic department for Southern Africa, Jacques Torregrossa, Director of Business France in South Africa and Clément Sarradin, the project manager for inward investment at Business France and also the manager of the (free and confidential) French desk for South African investors in France.

The purpose of the seminar was to present the “French team” in South Africa that strives to strengthen trade and economic ties between South African and French companies, to share information about the French desk at Business France and to discuss the advantages of investing in France. Existing South African investors shared their experiences regarding their projects in France.
