Le Movie Club is back with the movie ’La French", from Cédric Jimenez.

Marseille, 1975. Pierre Michel, a young magistrate arrived from Metz with wife and children, is appointed judge of organized crime. He decides to tackle the French Connection, a Mafia organisation that exports heroin throughout the world. Throwing all caution to the wind, Judge Michel embarks on a sole crusade against Gaëtan Zampa, an untouchable godfather and iconic figure of the underworld.

The film will be screened at The Bioscope Independent Cinema in Johannesburg on Thursday 25 August 2016 at 8pm.
