When the body has been abused, raped, destroyed, devastated, what is left?

"MOI" tells of the inner journey, traveling from the past to present-day life, surfing between difficult moments and those of absolute bliss. "MOI" tells of the other self that visits us, allowing us to seize a unique moment, to stand up for ourselves, to have hope to and continue our life.

In this piece Gaby Saranouffi, using choreography inspired by ancient tradition from Madagascar, tackles the questions of morals and values.

Gaby Saranouffi, dancer, choreographer, teacher and artistic director of the International Contemporary Dance Festival "l’trôtra"and Vahinala Company in Madagascar. She lives and works in Madagascar and South Africa.
