Networking session at the French Residence, as part of the ‘international exchange seminar on HR matters in Public Service’. [fr]

French Ambassador to South Africa, HE Elisabeth Barbier, hosted a networking session on 29 September 2016 as part of the three-day ‘international exchange seminar on HR matters in Public Service’. The session gathered the participants of the seminar, including members of the South African Department of Administration (DPSA), in particular Mr Mashwahle Diphofa, Director General of the DPSA. French and German officials, as well as researchers and representative of South African think tanks specialised in questions related to public governance, attended the event.

In her speech, Ambassador Barbier thanked the two French representatives of the Direction Générale de l’Administration et de la Fonction Publique (DGAFP) and Ecole Nationale d’Administration (ENA) for their active participation in the seminar. She also encouraged those involved to keep on working on technical cooperation, which promotes the ‘French model’ of public and service administration.
