Meet the Alliance Française of Johannesburg’s team for some fun and creative language activities around a glass of wine. Join them for instant conversation in French, Portuguese and isiZulu and leave with some beginner’s knowledge of our languages.

Anyone taking part in all four events of the Alliance Française Jozi Tour will stand a chance to win a 100% free bursary to learn the language of his/her choice*.

Follow us around Johannesburg to meet and speak in the following venues:

  • Tuesday 24 January (16:00-18:00) at the International French School (lycée Jules Verne) in Morningside
  • Wednesday 25 January (17:00-20:00) at A la Bouffe (French restaurant) in Linden
  • Thursday 26 January (17:00-19:30) at The Bioscope in Maboneng
  • Saturday 28 January (09:00-16:00) at the Alliance Française in Parkview

Would you like to stand a chance to win a 100% free bursary to learn the language of your choice (between French, isiZulu and Portuguese)? It’s very easy!

Take the passport, fill it with your details and have it stamped at each step of the Alliance Française Jozi Tour, give it to the Alliance Française’s team on Saturday 28 January at the Alliance Français of Johannesburg before 16:00 and you could be the lucky winner of the draw!

The bursary includes tuition, exam and media centre fees but books will have to be purchased (R800,00 per set). The bursary will be valid for one session only (01 February 2017 to 15 May 2017). Staff members of the Alliance Française and their families are excluded from this competition. This bursary follows the terms and conditions of the Alliance Française of Johannesburg.
