- Deputy Director of the Department of the United Nations and International Organisations, 1993-1996

- Minister Counsellor in Tokyo, 1996-1999

- European Advisor to the President of the Republic, 1999-2002

- Ambassador to Malaysia, 2002-2005

- Director for Economic and Financial Affairs, 2005-2007

- Diplomatic Advisor to the Prime Minister, 2007-2009
