The French South African Chamber of Commerce and Industry held its annual Gala Dinner at the Sandton Sun on the 29th of September. Mr Stefan Sakoschek, chairman of the chamber, and MC for the evening launched the festivity before leaving the floor to Mr Jacques Lapouge, Ambassador of France to South Africa. Mr Pravin Gordhan, South Africa Minister of Finance and guest speaker of the evening then addressed the audience. The Gala Dinner participants were given the opportunity to share their concerns through a Q & A session.
The 2011 FSACCI Gala Dinner was deemed successful by the attendees who had the chance to share their business concerns with the South Africa Minister of Finance, M. Pravin Gordhan, were graced with a wonderful performance by Opera Africa singers and enjoyed a delectable fine cuisine dinner.
