Visa applications

For visas and any other administrative formalities related to travelling to France, please contact:

1. The Consulate of France in Johannesburg

Reminder:

With effect from 25 October 2010, all applicants residing in the provinces of Gauteng, Kwazulu-Natal, Mpumalanga, Northwest, Free State and Lesotho will be required to schedule an appointment with the French Consulate before applying for a Schengen visa.

2. The Consulate of France in Cape Town

Every applicant (6 years of age and older), living in the provinces of the Eastern, Northern and Western Cape is required to schedule an appointment at 086 744 4003, from Monday to Friday between 9am and 4pm and Saturdays between 9am and noon (please note as the call centre is experiencing high call volumes in the mornings, it is recommended to phone in the afternoons).
