Visa applications

Due to the procedure necessary for biometric visa, all visa applicants have to appear for appointments in person.

Applications for people living in the provinces of Gauteng, Kwazulu-Natal, Mpumalanga, Northwest, Free State, Limpopo or in Lesotho will be managed by the Consulate of France in Johannesburg

To obtain a visa, applicants must first schedule an appointment with Capago (the consulate’s local partner for visa applications) online at: www.my-europe-visa.com. Applicants must attend these appointments in person.

- Application forms will be completed at the CAPAGO office, located at: Inanda Greens Business Park, Wierda Gables building Block B (ground floor) 98 Albertyn Avenue, CNR Katherine Street 2246 SANDTON.

- Residents of the province of Kwazulu-Natal are invited to contact the CAPAGO centre opened in Durban: in Pencarrow Office Park 8, Pencarrow Crescent, La Lucia, 4051 DURBAN.
Applications will then be sent to the Consulate for processing.

France ranks 3rd in terms of tourists visiting SA

Regarding the numbers announced by the South-African ministry of Tourism, 130 000 French tourists visited South Africa in 2013, ranking France as the 3rd visitor country behind Great Britain and Germany.

Furthermore, according to the World Tourism Organization Network, France stays the world first tourism destination and registered a 6% increase in 2013.
