The Consulate General of France in Johannesburg


Every applicant (6 years of age and older), living in the provinces of Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal, Limpopo, Mpumalanga, Northwest, Free State and in the Kingdom of Lesotho is required to schedule an appointment online at http://fr.vfsglobal.za.com and pay a service charge. Twenty four hours after the service charge has been deposited, you can proceed to schedule an appointment. For assistance, (but not to schedule appointments), call the French Visa call centre at 082 234 44 33, from Monday to Friday, 8am to 3pm.

The Consulate of France in Cape Town


Every applicant (6 years of age and older), living in the provinces of the Eastern, Northern and Western Cape is required to schedule an appointment at 086 7 444 003, from Monday to Friday between 9am and 4pm and Saturdays between 9am and noon (please note as the call centre is experiencing high call volumes in the mornings, it is recommended to phone in the afternoons).
